Party Food Rehersal

Rachel and I are hosting Michelle's 1st birthday/tea party. We wanted to make sure we knew just what we were doing for sure. So we practiced today. Actually Justin and I made all of the stuff. I think everything looks really great. What do you think?

End of April, Snow on flowers.

You can't see the snow really good, but yes it is snowing on my flowers. This is not uncommon in Utah. We have a day when we wear shorts in the Spring, and the next day we're all bundled up in our coats.

Beautiful Flower

This is the first time Michelle has held a flower. Michelle looks so beautiful outside in the sun holding it.
She really seemed to like the flower and treated it pretty gently as she touched the petals.
She spent time examining it from all angles. Here she looks at the stem.
Isn't she cute.
The flower is a hit with Michelle, and she holds it up to show that she likes it.

Justin the "sound man".

Justin was the music and special effects sound person for the 5th grade school play. Of course he would be over the "technical stuff". Just like his dad.

Michelle's new trampoline.

This is Michelle's new trampoline. Watch as daddy and Michelle build it.
Michelle helping daddy put together her new trampoline.
Here she is giving daddy advice on how to build it.
Michelle checks out the fine quality work that daddy has been doing. "Such good work daddy."

Michelle makes sure daddy has all of the right parts.

Michelle taking a break under the trampoline in the shade.

Michelle tries things out to see how they're coming along.

Last but not least, daddy puts up the safety enclosure. Thank you daddy.

More kids from the "hood".

Rachel playing soccer.

Rachel is trying soccer for the first time. She is really liking it a lot. She has only had 3 games and 2 practices and I can see a total improvement in her already. She is trying really hard and has thrown the ball in from out of bounds a couple of times and did some kind of kick off or something a couple of times. (I don't know anything about soccer). She makes it look really fun and isn't being timid at all. I'm so proud of her.

Team spirit.

Michelle playing on Justy's big wheel.

Here she is, my cute baby. Gotta love her.

Boys from the "hood".

This is Matt, Colby, and Nathan playing outside.
Dante is now in the picture.
This is Dante he is a fun kid.
